Archirivolto Design was founded in 1983 in Colle di Val d’Elsa, in the province of Siena, through the collaboration between Marco Pocci and Claudio Dondoli, friends and, at the time, university classmates. It began as a small entrepreneurial venture focused on architecture, interior design, and furniture sales, thanks to close ties with the most dynamic local industries. Just a few years later, the studio's activities evolved into the field of industrial design, a direction pursued out of a genuine passion for the world of furniture.
Guided by a clear entrepreneurial vision, Marco Pocci and Claudio Dondoli shaped the precise identity of their studio. Specializing in the design of seating — from chairs to sofas, stools to office and outdoor seating — they explored all kinds of technologies and materials, particularly plastic, gaining extensive experience with anything that could be produced or molded.
For over thirty years, Archirivolto Design has been committed to making beauty accessible. The studio chooses to follow the entire product development process, accompanying and supporting the client step by step — from market research to the development of creative ideas, the creation of prototypes crafted by an in-house model maker, all the way to technical support for the company during the product’s industrialization.
